Pink Fairies - What a Bunch of Sweeties (1972)

All hail the kings of the Freeks !!! Without doubt my favorite of all guitar bands "The Pink Fairies" and this is their second LP from 1972 and probably the best as far as production is concerned. They rose from the ashes of The Deviants fronted by Mick Farren and flew the freak flag higher than any other british band. They cant remember making the 3rd Deviants LP as they were so wired on Crystal Meth (They were Londons main dealers of it along with the Hells Angels) and dope :D Lord knows what their shared house must have been like although there is a story of a police bust that found the band and a young David Bowie off their shitters on Acid dressed as women posing on the roof with their cocks out heh heh. The playing on this LP is a constant inspiration to us at Rebelbass and this LP one of the best of the forgotten classics.
!! UP THE PINKS !!

Thanks for the Faires and Deviants stuff - any chance of a re-up of What A Bunch Of Sweeties? Both parts are deleted.
